Dear BMHS Band Parents:
I wanted to take the time to thank you for the countless hours of manpower and financial support that you gave the kids over this past year.

Next year is already going to be different in that we will be performing our field show for the first time before the students have had a single day of classes. I hope that we will see you all come out and support the band and guard on Saturday August 28 at the Connecticut Hurricanes Drum Corp Show that will take place at Kennedy Stadium in Bridgeport. More information will follow so please check our website, www.bmhsband.org, and click on the CT Hurricanes link.

I would also like to ask for your help with our home show “Celebration of Sound” which will take place on Saturday September 25 beginning at 5:00 p.m. The area that we need help in more than any other is heading/chairing our Concession/Food Court. As of this letter, this position is still vacant. I know that this is a big undertaking by someone who must donate several hours of time but without someone taking on this position, we will be very limited to what we can sell and stand to lose thousands of dollars that we could make for the program.
The Celebration of Sound is one of the biggest high school band competitions in Connecticut and continues to grow through the help of its many volunteers.
